*Arc review* Princess and the fan girl by Ashley poston

Oh, my stars! This book is one of my drop everything and read and I did just that. Skipping on 2 other books that I’ve started.

This book was so nice to be part in it since geekerella is one of my top 3 contemporaries. But the story starts out with Jessica, the other lead cast of the movie and is not happy that she doesn’t want the role at all. An interviewer was bickering her for questions and jess answers one with true answer that’s not supposed to so after runs to the bathroom and crashes into Imogen Lovelace extreme fangirl and the lead for wanting jess in the movie. Well after the bathroom a mishap happens and Imogen is now in a panel as jess. So after that they decide to switch places for the con.

My feelings on the story.

Like said I loved being back in this world. To all the nerdy things to just the excitement. The start of the story starts off a tad bland since jess is just always a grump and wants nothing to do with the movie or fandom and Imogen is trying hard to be like jess would act while adding her own flare. And this goes thru 50% of the book which each character being snooty and not much chatter with other characters happens. But by 50% the book finally has its flare that I loved in geekerella. The fandom, the things you experience in a book just like you were in world its self and top it all if set your mind to it you can do it. With of course help and your never alone.

For this book character arcs:

Like the story, at first, I thought was a tad flawed. Since how can anyone start to like or even be friends since Imogen and jess and side characters minus one all grumpy. So as goes on not sure how they sorta let go of grumpiness to be friends. But the action of trying to make the book being solved I enjoyed. Soo with all of that I gotta give a book a 4 star rating. Bad start to good latter half book you expect in a book of geekerella. So this won’t be a fav but geekerella will be and glad the second book in this world. 4/5

There is nothing better than a great cup of coffee and an even better book.

    1. 3 star more for me is if whole book thru I wasn’t enjoying as much as can hope. or small sliver like a quarter I liked. And it’s 4 since after 50% I absolutely loved it so I wouldn’t give it 3 stars after that. I don’t go down to 2 or 1 stars unless I directly finished the book and thought dreadful
