A young woman from a prestigious family can slay with just her voice. Beware when she starts to sing….
The only way I can really describe this book is simple, a BSer BSing a BSer. Games were played and you never fully knew who was scamming who. It was evilly delicious.
I really enjoyed the closeness of the three sisters. Even though they may have acted like brats (aren’t we all) they still looked out for one another and had each other’s backs. It reminded me of my relationship with my two sisters when I was younger. I love a book that makes me look at myself and reminisce about my younger years. *Sigh* To be an innocent tween again.
The characters were very well written and could stand on their own. No one really outshines another but they are all characters that you’ll always remember. Lark was a complete badass who could take down anyone who got in her way. But my favorite character was Darius. Deep down past that tough exterior, he had a massively warm heart and you felt all of his emotions through the pages.
Song of the Forever Rains was a decent read. I’m excited to see where E.J. takes us next. I’m sure that it’s going to be a wild ride!
