My Top 5 Reasons to Read Rise of the Snake Goddess
Before I dive into my top five reasons, I want to add how much I love this series. I loved the first book, Curse of the Specter Queen, and I’m really looking forward to more Samantha Knox adventures. Jenny Elder Moke does such an amazing job with this series! I’m so excited for more people to read Sam’s next adventure and fall in love with her thirst for adventure all over again.
- I would describe the Samantha Knox series as Indiana Jones meets Lara Croft meets National Treasure. Need I say more?
- Sam is so knowledgeable and brave, but also has those feelings anyone may have, especially during college: doubt, envy, and the feelings of being unworthy.
- Joana, Sam’s best friend, is such a fun and hilarious character, and just like the first book, she shines in the sequel.
- I love that Moke shows beautiful, heartfelt moments between Sam and Bennett, but I also love how she showed obstacles the couple needed to overcome, which made their relationship so realistic.
- There’s not a single thing I didn’t love about Rise of the Snake Goddess – talk about adventure, friendship, romance, and mystery! All the best elements to make a book an entertaining and page-turning read!
