This week is starting on a bad start. I hurt my heel and I can’t walk. Ugh!
This week I’m going to read a book I got from NetGalley, a book that I received from the publisher, and a book that I got from ALA Midwinter.
What are you reading?
Who Did You Tell?- Lesley Kara
A recovering alcoholic’s dark secrets catch up with her in this gripping novel of psychological suspense from the internationally bestselling author of The Rumor.
“Instantly immersive, then intriguing, then insanely suspenseful, then . . . the truth. Believe me, Lesley Kara knows what she’s doing.”–Lee Child
We said to keep it a secret, that no one needed to know.
Astrid is newly sober and trying to turn her life around. Having reluctantly moved back in with her mother, in a quiet seaside town away from the temptations and darkness of her previous life, she is focusing on her recovery. She’s going to meetings. Confessing her misdeeds. Making amends to those she’s wronged. If she fills her days, maybe she can outrun the ghosts that haunt her. Maybe she can start anew.
But someone is tormenting me now. Someone knows where I am and what I’ve done.
Someone knows exactly what Astrid is running from. And they won’t stop until she learns that some mistakes can’t be corrected. Some mistakes, you have to pay for . . .
The question is: Who did you tell?
The Betrothed- Kiera Cass
She’s captured the king’s heart. But who’s captured hers? #1 New York Times bestselling author Kiera Cass is ready to retake her crown as the queen of YA romance with this sparkling new duology.
The young king of Coroa has never been the type to settle down—that is, until he meets Hollis Brite.
Hollis has grown up at the castle, among the other daughters of nobility who hoped beyond hope that they’d catch the king’s eye. So when King Jameson declares his love for her, Hollis is shocked—and thrilled.
But she soon realizes that along with the extravagant presents and fawning attention, this new life brings outsized expectations—expectations that make her wonder if she’s really cut out for life as a royal.
And when she meets an Isolten stranger with the mysterious power to see right into her heart, she starts to wonder: Is there more to life outside the palace walls?
The Princess Will Save You- Sarah Henning
A STABLE BOY
When her father dies, Princess Amarande is given an ultimatum: Marry the leader of one of the four neighboring kingdoms, or lose her crown—and possibly her life. And to force her hand, her beloved, the stable boy Luca, is kidnapped.
But Amarande was raised to be a warrior, not a sacrifice.
And nothing will stop her from saving her true love and rescuing her kingdom.
The acclaimed author of Sea Witch turns the classic damsel-in-distress tale on its head with this story of adventure, identity, and love.

OOh nice! I couldn’t decide if I wanted to review The Princess Will Save You at this point. I mean, I plan to read it eventually, but I’m really enjoying not having any pressing review books on my palate as I dive into TBR books!
Hope you enjoy all the reads for the week!
Here’s my Monday Wrap-up

I just adore Sarah Henning, so I decided that I was going to jump into it this week.
That’s a great thought. I’d just dove right on in with reading and writing reviews. Keep my mind busy.
